The SeaSnap 360 is a unique underwater imaging system that autonomously collects digital images in a panoramic array. These images are suitable for non-destructive assessment of fish populations, sessile invertibrate communities, and geologic or engineering environments. The images are readily fused into full 360° panoramic displays that literally immerse the viewer in the underwater world. Optional penetrators and slip rings provide external power and I/O for long-term surveillance. Internal lamp/strobe system provides illumination for nightime or deep-sea imaging.
